listening to: first aid kit

a storm just rolled through. spring in michigan is something to behold. green, tranquil, clean. yet unpredictable at times...and that's what i love. there's something peaceful in the chaos.

turning an ear to: first aid kit. a sisterly duo of some swedish folk amazingness...

photo: for aline. the easter outfit. favorite part...the puffy sleeves!! dress (h&m), necklace (macy's)...

spring is here. and it's raining outside my window. and my window's open, yet i don't really care.

there's absolutely nothing as peaceful as the sound of rain. and the scent of wet pavement...
I opened my eyes
And looked up at the rain
And it dripped in my head
And flowed into my brain
And all that I hear as I lie in my bed
Is the slishity-slosh of the rain in my head

I step very softly
I walk very slow
I can't do a handstand
I might overflow
So pardon the wild crazy thing I just said
I'm just not the same since there's rain in my head

edward sharpe & the magnetic zeros

i may have worn out "home" (obsessive repeating does that), but "i come in please" has proven a worthy replacement... outside to this beautiful weather i go!

daily dose #417

thought for today: it's never too late until you say it is...

was pondering that phrase thinking of opportunities missed, dreams never pursued, thinking back on the "what-ifs"

well it's never over until you're done trying. and you're still here, so make the most of time you've been given!
